Papaya Sorbet Enzyme Cleansing Balm by Glow Recipe

It seems as though, since the beginning of time, I have been searching for ways to effectively, yet gently clean the make-up off my face. Most specifically, that made to last waterproof mascara. Great for crying; not so great for cleaning off.

I have tried coconut oil, which put a constant foggy film all over my contact lenses and even my eyes. It was frustrating trying to clean off and I ended up winking at everyone just by trying to see what was beyond the fog! I have also tried micellar water. That took a good amount of painful rubbing with cotton pads to remove all traces of black from my eyes.

Enter in…the Holy Grail of mascara and makeup remover! Papaya Sorbet Enzyme Cleansing Balm from Glow Recipe. I can thank Ipsy for discovering yet another favorite product.

Since I loved this product so much, I went on to purchase it’s full size and many other items from their skincare line.

Thanks to Glow Recipe, I’ve learned about double cleansing, natural fruit peels, and how fun and smelly-good my skincare routine can be! I actually look forward to cleaning my face day and night. It’s become a form of “me time”.

This cleansing balm is filled with good for you ingredients, such as papaya enzymes, blueberry extract, and apricot oil. It is vegan, cruelty free, and doesn’t have any of those nasty additives.

Riannon here, while exploring their website, they have a product quiz so you can see what products would be perfect for you. I took the quiz and my products are Blueberry Bounce Gentle Cleanser, Watermelon Glow Sleep Mask, Watermelon Glow PHA+BHA Pore-Tight Toner, Avocado Melt Retinol Eye Sleeping Mask, Guava Vitamin C Dark Spot Serum & Watermelon Glow Pink Juice Moisturizer.

I’m probably not going to do the Retinol one because I suspect I have a sensitivity to it from having burning eyes after use. Coincidence or problem with the other brand I used? I don’t know but for the $45 price point, I’m not likely to take the chance. I also discovered coupon codes in their offers section. I decided to purchase just two items for now, get the 2 free samples they offer with any purchase so I can see what I think of the other products and then I used the coupon code to receive 4 trial sized products, that happened to be on my quiz list, to give them all a shot. I’m excited to try them all out and see what I like best!

You can take the quiz here if you would like. I’d love to hear if you got different results than me!
