Resolution? Nope, attempt…

This new year, I want to be better at documenting each day. Each and every day has it’s share of ups and downs and I want to document that in 2024. I feel like my kids are growing up so fast and the oldest graduates in 2025 so I want to make all the time we have together count and pictures to show for it.

For Christmas my hubby got me a Polaroid Hi-point printer that Bluetooth connects to my phone so that I can print pictures as I take them if I want or when I have time to work on them. I also purchased a self-adhesive photo album so that I can add my pictures and add scrapbook details as I have time to do so.

I host a monthly craft group that I lead so I plan to work on my album month to month and add as I go along. My goal is to devote one page in the album to 2 days so I’ll purchase a new album every 2.5 months during 2024. That makes a total of 6 albums for the year 2024. I’m going to make my best effort to do this. I may find that I only have one good picture for a day. There may even be some days that I didn’t get any pictures, we were just in the moments of the day and I will then just write about the day. I was gifted some stamps and ink so I plan to use that to make the scrapbook like accessories for the book.

What is your favorite way to document your day to day? Do you jot down in a journal? Do you make notes digitally? How do you process your every day life? Leave me a comment and let me know what you think of my idea. How can I make it more tangible? Any great on the go scrapbook finds you love? Let me know below!
